Prof. Dr.- Ing. Peter Ott and the other two visiting scholars paid an academic visit to Institute of Intelligent Machines (IIM) on August 31. Prof. Tao Mei , vice president of Hefei I nstitute of P hysical S cience of Chinese A cademy of S ciences and D irector of Institute of Intelligent Machines, gave them a warm reception. Prof. Mei delivered an introduction of IIM to them, which stresses on the research direction and the subject construction, especially the important research achievements gained recently. The discussion on research direction of common interest was held in a favorable atmosphere and a good agreement was reached, which laid a sound foundation for the further collaboration.
Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, with a strong Mechatronics & Micro System Engineering department, is situated in Heilbronn , Germany .
